24 Hours Bus Tour around Taiwan

The distance of one trip around the island of Taiwan is about 1000km. Two people tried to accomplish the feat in one day by riding buses. The challenge is that in order to go around the island, you have to combine the bus routes of 6 different districts. You will miss the next bus if there is just a little delay. The two people accomplished the feat at the end of 2007. In addition to applauding their accomplishment, I recorded the tour on Google Earth.

After learning the multigeometry for mouseover effects, which were used by Barnabu on ” Flight Route Maps for Australia and New Zealand“, I applied the effects into this posting. If you move the cursor to each bus stop, you can see the connection to both the previous and the next bus stop.

Please download the KmzGoogle Earth File, and experience the feat on Google Earth.
