Although Kinmen is an island near Xiamen, Fushien, China, the island is part of Taiwan. Currently, Google Earth does not have any high-resolution satellite images or local road maps of the island.

In June 2007, the Kinmen local government published a “Kinmen Tour Map”. Besides including a map of the island at a scale of 1/35000, the publication also contains higher resolution street maps for 12 villages, but on a different scale. Before I post these maps on Google Earth, I need to convert them into transparent .png files, and then process them through SuperOverlay tools. Additionally, I have highlighted some visitor attractions, including transportation routes, national parks, tour buses, and traditional villages, using Multigeometry for mouseover effects to differentiate the attractions.
