Shanghai World Expo in May this year, the Taipei Museum officially opened its doors, to marketing the Taipei Museum, the Taipei City Government organized a number of activities. Taiwan just went through the biggest typhoon in the past 50 years on 8/8/2009, the diameter of this typhoon reached 1200km. Some areas had their equivalent of one year rainfall in two days. The typhoon has caused ever the most destructive floods and mudslides in southern Taiwan.
