Taiwan High Speed Rail in Google Earth

In the year 2006, high speed rail was introduced in Taiwan, connecting from the northern city Taipei to the southern station Zhouying. There is a total of eight stations, ranging about 350km. The fastest train can arrive within 90 minutes. This route has changed the way Taiwanese travel long distance, and the original flight courses have almost been terminated entirely.

Sichuan Earthquake in Google Earth

Wenchuan County in Sichuan Province in mainland China on May 12, 2008 at 2:28 in the 7.8 Richter scale earthquake shook a half in Asia, and even far away in about 1,900 km of Taiwan have the feeling the amazing power. The officials said this morning the number of deaths nearly 10,000 people.

4d MRT + Gondola + Bus

I have made 3 4D-KML Collections, including 20070703 Maokung Gondola, 20070716 Maokung Itinerant bus, and 20070727 Muzha line MRT. I found there are two concerns: first, if you run three files at the same time, your system will be suffered from a heavy loading. Second, each file has its own timer, resulting in an uncoordinated performance. I keep this in my mind although 8 months passed by. Eventually I take some time and make it up in the recent days. 4d Airplane + Slide Show in Google Earth

This posting contains 72 photos that were taken from a remote control aircraft model activity. By adding time tag on ScreenOverlay, it demonstrates similar effect as in a slide show on Google Earth. Additionally, the flying F-16 model aircraft on Google Earth allows the viewer to learn about how to operate a remote control aircraft model.
